		The Warranty Myth:  Most manufacturers offer a 5 to 15 year warranty.  What they forget to tell you is that it is a user warranty.  This means that if the plastic seat cracks but it is still able to be used then the warranty is not in effect.  If the top cracks or peels but is still functional then warranty does not cover.  Rust on the frame, glides falling off are not covered. Abuse is never covered by anyone, but how much abuse will a product take before it breaks. This is an out that will prevent you from getting any warranty covered, as most of the problems in school stem from some type of abuse.

With Capitol all aspects are covered in the warranty. The seats will not break and if they do they are covered. A blushing effect happens when soft plastic takes on stress causing a discoloring or whitening.  Many come out of the box from the manufacturer with stress marks. Abuse is possible with a Capitol product but it has to be extreme. The chrome that Capitol uses has 40% more nickel then their closest competitor. Nickel is the strength that gives chrome its reputation for quality. Rusting is not a problem and the soft plastic seats are built with 100% polypropylene without any recycled products.
